Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actor most well-known for her role as host of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl was brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sibling Frankie. Frankie had suffered with her own illness called Polio. When she was a child, she had difficulties to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl says that at an incident, she was stabbed by her father due to him being too close with her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she, joined the army. However her interest lay in comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to make the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She launched her TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. The present co-host on the Talk talk show since the year 2011. She also has fictional roles in popular shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
